  • A knocked out tooth or teeth
  • Swollen cheeks, face, or eyes
  • Tooth pushed into the gums from a fall or other trauma

If a permanent tooth is knocked out, please follow these instructions:

  • Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. Risen it with milk.

  • Try to place the tooth back into the socket.

  • Have your child hold the tooth in place by closing his or her mouth on a gauze pad or washcloth.

  • If it is not possible to replace the tooth, then place tooth in a cup of milk.

  • Call our office and press option 5 to page the Dentist or Dental Assistant on call.
