Jenn: Office Manager

Our Office Manager, Jenn, has been with the practice since the opening in 2008. Jenn and her husband, Jasper, have 3 sons, Paul, Jordon and Leo. They love spending time together as a family and taking vacations to the beach.

The most exciting thing about being a part of Shoal Creek Pediatric Dentistry, for Jenn, is: “helping the staff and Dr. Thomas provide an environment where you and your child feel great about the care they are receiving as well as our promise to treat your child as you would; with understanding, patience and kindness.”

Jackie: Sedation Treatment Coordinator, Billing and Insurance Specialist

Our Sedation Treatment Coordinator and Billing and Insurance Specialist, Jackie, joined our team in 2013. She has three children, Elise, Joey and Noelle and also enjoys walking each morning and trying new restaurants with her husband, Dan.

How she can help:

Jackie wears many hats in the office from assisting the office manager, to handling billing and insurance questions and ensuring all patients have a good understanding of their benefits. Jackie can assist you with any insurance and billing questions you may have. Jackie is also our Sedation Treatment Coordinator. Jackie understands the process of coordinating dental benefits and working with MAC (Mobile Anesthesia Care), can sometimes be confusing. She will work very hard to make the process as smooth as possible.
The most exciting thing about being a part of Shoal Creek Pediatric Dentistry for Jackie is: “coming to work each day with a group of great people I enjoy working with so much!”

Katie: Receptionist

Katie has been a part of our team since 2010. She is married and has two children, Jack and Layla. Katie enjoys watching Layla do gymnastics and Jack play baseball.

How she can help:

Katie will welcome you into our office and can help with scheduling appointments and answering any insurance questions you may have.

The most exciting thing about being part of Shoal Creek Pediatric Dentistry for Katie is: “Working with a great staff and seeing how excited the kids are to see Dr. Thomas when they walk in the door!”

Lauren: Receptionist and Operatory Treatment Coordinator

Our Check-Out Receptionist, Lauren, joined our team in 2016. Lauren is currently a full-time student at Park University working towards her undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Marketing. She enjoys watching sports, attending Chiefs and Royals games and running her own small business!

How she can help:

Lauren will assist you with checking out, scheduling appointments and answering any insurance questions you may have. Lauren is also our Treatment Plan Coordinator for all operatory appointments and will help assist in coordinating your dental benefits so you are aware of your dental estimate prior to your child’s appointment.

The most exciting thing about being a part of Shoal Creek Pediatric Dentistry for Lauren is: “Dr. Thomas truly cares so much about each and every one of his patients. While checking-out patients, I constantly hear parents and their children express how much they appreciate the relationships he builds with them.”

Melissa: Lead Dental Assistant

Melissa has been a part of our team since 2009. She is a mother of two, Aston and Nicco and Likes to spend her free time shopping, cooking, and driving go-carts

Kayla: Dental Assistant

Kayla has been with our team since 2011. Kayla is the mother of three children, Cayden, Blaine and Hadley. In her free time she loves to craft and shop.

Mackenzie: Dental Assistant

Mackenzie joined our team in 2017 and enjoys decorating her apartment and spending time with her family!

“They are so sweet and have hilarious personalities.”

Victoria: Dental Assistant

Victoria became a part of our team in 2017. She enjoys shopping and doing other’s Makeup.

“Listening to their Stories and all of their different personalities.”

Maddy: Instrument Reprocessor

Maddy joined our team in 2017 and enjoys spending time outside with her friends and family and watching movies. She is interning with us for the summer before heading back to Brigham Young University Idaho in the fall.
